Tanjong Pagar

Tanjong Pagar was a historic centre for Singapore's Chinese community. It is now a cosmopolitan area within walking distance of the CDB with a wide range of old and new shops. It is a good place for a lunch time meal with office workers, a post work hangout area for pubs and fine dining and a pleasant place to explore cafes and eclectic shops on a lazy weekend afternoon.

Clay Abode

Clay Abode specialises in claypot rice. It services mostly a lunch time CBD crowd.

Get the traditional claypot rice. The claypot looks like it has been well used. The rice is full of flavour and the chicken tender but it is a little too salty for me.
Anotyher addition that one should get is the egg. When you break the egg, the yolk oozes out and adds creamy texture to the rice.
Maybe they can do a premium claypot dish with prawns?
